| Research Interests:
Dr. Murthy S. Gudipati has been actively engaged in research in
the areas of Physics and Chemistry of Low-Temperature Ices, Photophysics,
Photochemistry, Energy Transfer, Spectroscopy, Low-Temperature Chemistry,
Computational Chemistry and Molecular Clusters. Spectroscopy
from Far Infrared to Vacuum Ultraviolet using conventional spectroscopic
Instruments, Lasers and Synchrotron Radiation is Dr. Gudipati's
instrumentation Strengths. He is Principal Scientist at Jet
Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, where
he is leading efforts to understand Physics and Chemistry of Solar
System and Interstellar Ices. His previous appointments include
Privatdozent of Physical Chemistry, University of Cologne, Germany;
visiting scientist at NASA Ames Research Center, California; SRI
International, California; and Fritz-Haber Institute, Berlin, Germany.
